Celine Llewellyn-Jones
Learning Technologist
London Metropolitan University
(Fixed term contract until Aug 2010 for duration of CETL funding only)
My role at the Write Now CETL is to provide training, support and advice to staff wishing to develop multimedia resources in support of student writing. Wherever possible I also aim to involve students in the development process. I am currently working on an Action Research project with the Education department exploring the value of Voice to Text tools and Twitter for the reflective practice of trainee tutors supporting dyslexic students. I am also collaborating on a book chapter about the Challenges for Learning Technologists in Writing in the Disciplines, for the forthcoming book edited by Dr Peter O'Neill (London Metropolitan University) and Dr Mary Deane (Coventry University).
I also work as a Research Fellow at SMARTlab, an Associate Researcher for Futurelab and a freelance mobile and location-based game and experience designer and am working towards a PhD investigating the role of digitally augmented bodies in learning.
