Savita BahkshiMy responsibilities as a Research Fellow include developing, implementing and monitoring Write Now CETL research projects. I am involved in collecting and analysing quantitative and qualitative data, as well as disseminating the findings to a variety of audiences in the form of publications, reports, conference papers, and teaching resources. My teaching responsibilities include providing one-to-one writing support for undergraduate and postgraduate students at the London Metropolitan Writing Centre. I am also involved in designing study resources, and running workshops and conferences for students as part of the Writing Centre services.

I have completed a PhD in Health Psychology, which looked at demographic group differences in the predictors and consequences of negative body image in White and South Asian groups. I am also interested in the relationships between food, health and the media in different ethnic groups.
