Evaluation

Interim self-evaluation report

In July 2007 the Write Now CETL prepared an interim self-evaluation report for HEFCE (the report will be added to this page as soon as possible). The document was written with three main purposes and respective audiences in mind:

  1. To enable the core Write Now team to reflect in-depth on its work over the first two years of the CETL, in order to inform the direction and emphasis of its work over the next three years.
  2. To inform HEFCE of progress and what we had learned so far, to feed into the evaluation of the CETL programme overall.
  3. To provide others outside the CETL with an evaluative overview of our work to date, in the interests of transparency and raising awareness of Write Now across the higher education sector.

Final evaluation report

Write Now has commissioned a final evaluation report which has been submitted to HEFCE (click here to link to the Final Self-Evaluation report). The aim of the evaluation is to make an assessment of the impact of the Write Now CETL and identify opportunities to maximise Write Now's influence and legacy. The objectives of the report are:

  1. To assess the impact of Write Now on its host institutions: London Metropolitan University, Liverpool Hope University and Aston University.
  2. To assess the impact of Write Now on the higher education sector in the UK and overseas.
  3. To assess the impact of Write Now on UK higher education policy.
