At Liverpool Hope, much of the research team’s recent efforts have focussed on a wide-scale questionnaire survey on assessment design (the Assessment Design Inventory) sent out to every UK university which runs a PGCLTHE course. To date, this work has been presented at six international conferences (including the EARLI, ISSOTL and EARLI/Northumbria Assessment conferences), and at several Hope University research seminars.

A paper on the interview data is being prepared for submission to a journal, and there are also plans to publish a paper on the quantitative work. When the results from the Assessment Design Inventory are published, the inventory will also be made freely available on the Write Now website. A similar plan is in process for the Marking and Feedback Inventory, which is currently in development.
